From Eph. 5

Fornication - Does this also include the "beginnings" of it in our minds and in our words, dress, and actions as well as any forms of affection that might start the process?

Uncleanness

Covetousness

Filthiness

Foolish Talking (What about this one?)

Jesting (What about this one?)

These are the things this passage says should NEVER characterize a Christian!

Verse 6 says "Let no man DECEIVE you..."

How easily we can be deceived through the arts and the media!

Verse 6 goes on to say "for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."

It's serious business, sisters, and verse 7 says... "Be NOT ye therefore PARTAKERS with them."

Be with these sorts of people to share the gospel with them and to be a positive influence for God and his holiness....but not to PLAY or be ENTERTAINED with them or BY them.

Verse 11 says "And have NO FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather REPROVE them.

Sometimes this means sharing the Word lovingly. Sometimes it might mean walking away...even from the T.V......

The word "fellowship" means "To share company with....."Also the word comes from a word that means "spec. to ENTERTAIN...+accompany".

If we are watching them sin and being entertained by it, are we not having fellowship with them?

But our admonition is to reprove....and to...

"Walk as children of LIGHT!" (v. 8)
